Digital Learning
In December 2021 the Board of Management of St Feilm's NS received €8,000 in government funding as part of The National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
St Felim’s NS used the NRRP funding to purchase ICT infrastructure to target learners at risk of educational disadvantage due to lack of access to relevant digital technologies that facilitate and support participation, attendance and retention and to ensure equity of access to the curriculum.
We targeted two areas:
- Support with Literacy- Use of Reading Eggs APP school-wide to support pupils to engage with self-paced differentiated reading lessons both inside and outside of the classroom. Targets were agreed as part of our DLP.
- Purchase of Interactive presentation technology to support teaching, learning and assessment and encourage greater participation of pupils at risk of educational disadvantage in senior classes
